Peas Are Not Evil!!!

I stopped by The Lighter Side of Low Carb’s Facebook fan page the other day, and noticed that Cleo had posted a picture showing what her personal USDA plate looks like. She had 3 strips of bacon, an egg, and 3 peas smiling up from the plate. While most of the comments shared how they would personally alter the foods in the graphic (I would have added another egg and more peas, myself), the one comment that caught my attention said - “Peas are evil.” There seems to be a common tendency within the low carb community to demonize foods not listed on the Atkins 2002 Induction menu chart. But I don’t know how or when that ever got started. I took a quick trip back to 1970 (one of the two Atkins’ books that survived the flea bombs that destroyed almost everything I owned last year), but Dr. Atkins’ advice didn't even insinuate that peas are evil. He said: “…additions are interchangeable and flexible. You can make any of these additions any week that you choose. I could be very arbitrary

bodybuilding diet macros

hey, what’s up, guys. sean nalewany hereat www.seannal.com – www.bodytransformationtruth.com. my voice is a little bit off here. i justgot back to canada from australia a few days ago and i came down with a cold, still a bitjet lagged as well, but definitely do for a video here. in this video we’re talkingabout vegan bodybuilding diets. the question being: can you build muscle and gain strengtheffectively while following a 100% plant based diet that excludes all animal products. so,no meat, no dairy, no eggs, no cheese, no whey protein, just pure plants sources only.it seems we’re, sort of starting to see more and more discussions about vegan dietspopping up in the youtube fitness community. it’s something i’ve personally been researchingand it’s something that a lot of people have asked me as well, so in this video ijust want to address, nothing to do with the ethical side, but just in terms of bottomline effectiveness. how does a vegan bodybuilding diet stack up against

bodybuilding diet is unhealthy

hey guys, sean nalewanyj of eliteimpactlabs.comhere and in today's video i want to discuss carbohydrates and talk a little bit aboutwhat the best sources of carbs are to include in your muscle building and fat burning diet.so when it all comes down to it, carbs are really just sugar whether you eat a chocolatebar, whether you eat a piece of fruit, or whether you eat a bowl of rice it all getsbroken down into the simple form of glucose one way or another. so in that sense, a carbohydrateis a carbohydrate because the end product is ultimately all the same. the only realdifference here is in how those carbs are â€Å“packaged up”. some carbs are going tobefound in the high fiber, high vitamin, high mineral and phytonutrient dense foods likefruits and vegetables and whole grains and potatoes and brown rice etcetera and someare going to be found in less nutritionally-dense, low fiber foods like cookies and cake andso called junk food. it’s not the carbohydrates themselves that are the

[sciq intro] it doesn’t get much more extreme than avegan diet: well, there are fruitarians but that’s just like – crazy. whether for ethical reasons, religious reasonsor any other reason, the health aspects of any diet need to be fully understood beforetaking them on. so, are there any health benefits to beinga vegan? well yeah, there are actually a ton of healthbenefits, like healthier gut microbiota these microorganismslive in our intestines are are vital to digestio
