soup diet weight loss reviews

hey everybody so, today i thought it would be a good idea if i gave you a bit of an update a week after i did the gm diet. i know a lot of people like to know if its just water weight that you lose or if its just just a quick fix. so, i decided to test that. basically, what i have done is i ate, not a really decent healthy week with no guideline or anything like that but i ate an unhealthy week i ate more food than i should have i was really full all of the time i drank coke & i had juice i didn't over do it at all i just had a normal comfortable week, with food. i even had desert some nights. it was just a typical, normal week. i did this for a whole 7 days just like the gm diet was 7 days i thought that would be a fair test after that 7 days i went and weighed myself at the gym same scales were used throughout the whole of this review i had actually kept off the weight but also lost .3 kgs so , i was really happy i think, once you have eaten like that after a whole week of ...

bodybuilding diet last week before competition

what̢۪s going on, guys. sean nalewanyj hereat www.seannal.com - www.bodytransformationtruth.com and in this video here, sort of a boring topicbut it̢۪s a basic fundamental nutrition subject that i haven̢۪t talked about before and thatis bodybuilding and water intake, and more specifically how much water should you drinkper day for the best overall health benefits as well as to maximize muscle growth, strengthgains and fat loss. so without going in to much detail, a proper water intake is obviouslyimportant for a bunch of different reasons. your brain and your muscles are about 70 to80% water and staying properly hydrated throughout the day provides a lot of different healthbenefits like helping with digestion, regulating body temperature, transporting nutrients, assisting with proper brain function, these are just a few examples of many, and whenit comes to bodybuilding and water intakes specifically, there̢۪s also a direct connectionthere as well. studies have shown that being even...

Dr. Atkins Advice on Exhaustion and Leg Cramps

Image
This morning I was taking a stroll through some of the threads over at Low Carb Friends, and I ran into something that really disturbed me. A patient of Dr. Westman was there asking for help. She has been on the high-fat low-carb diet known as Nutritional Ketosis for 4 months now. She is eating 20 carbs or less, is losing about 1 to 2 pounds a week, but she feels horrible. For some reason, she is not adapting to the state of Ketosis. Despite a high salt intake, she's having excruciating foot and leg cramps, gets dizzy, and comes near to passing out during her gym activities. She says she has zero energy, so her gym routine has dropped from 5 days a week and 1 trainer session, to just the training. She is taking magnesium and potassium supplements, along with chicken broth every day, but nothing is helping. She's exhausted and feels horrible, and yet, they want her to continue with the regimen she's been on, even though it's not working for her. That doesn't make an...

Is a Low-Carb Diet Sustainable for Life?

Image
I recently received a comment from a reader that suggested my lack of dieting success was probably due to my inability to stay with one particular low-carb diet plan long enough to reap results. The advice I received was to go on a low-carb, high-fat diet and give it six months or more to work before analyzing.  That was similar to the advice I received from the zero-carb folks a few years ago when despite the fact that I had gained about 20 pounds in the first three weeks and was experiencing abnormally high blood glucose levels, they told me to eat only beef, drink only water, and wait six months before reviewing the results. They didn't seem to care about the resurrected neuropathy. They were just sure that their way was the only way.  The problem with that type of advice is that it doesn't work for everyone.  Take Responsibility for Your Own Health Correcting metabolic issues isn't always as easy as lowering your carbohydrate level. For example, I'm juggling vertigo...

Will a Low Carb Diet Ruin My Metabolism?

There is a lot of confusion these days about metabolism. It seems to be a scapegoat that people like to blame when weight loss doesn’t happen easily. If they’re following a low carb diet and struggling to succeed, then they believe that all of those years of eating carbohydrates must have destroyed their metabolism and made them fat. On the other side of the argument are those who oppose low carb dieting. These people claim that carbohydrate restriction will permanently alter your metabolism, but what’s the truth? Will eating carbohydrates or following a low carb diet ruin your metabolism – or not? What is Metabolism? Low carb dieters generally do not like to hear about the energy equation. Dr. Atkins told us that we no longer need to worry about calories, so most people believe the energy equation isn’t applicable to them. Calories don’t matter, they say. Dr. Eades has tried to set the record straight, but far too many people still do not want to go outside and drag the equation bac...

Dairy Sensitivity, Beef, and the Atkins Induction Plan

Image
Beef Sensitivity? I’ve wrestled with myself for the past couple of days about “where” to place this post. I didn’t want to discourage anyone from entering into, or sticking with, a typical low carb diet. Atkins and The Protein Power Lifeplan both work equally well for most individuals, though they do differ in application. Honesty finally won. But since the relevancy of this topic falls across several of my blogs, I’ve decided to focus here on how my current problem relates to general low carb diets. Recently, I decided that since my weight had reached the upper limits for a maintenance phase, I would enter into Atkins Induction to carve off the body fat I’d gained – knowing that the first week’s weight loss would be mostly glycogen and water. That held true; I weighed in at 158 pounds last Friday, down almost 5-1/2 pounds for the first week. But I didn’t expect what happened next. I have one more day to go to keep my Atkins Induction commitment, but…I’m seriously reconsidering that de...

Why Does a Low Carb Diet Make You Feel Shaky?

It’s a myth that all overweight people have insulin resistance and/or metabolic syndrome. It’s also a myth that everyone’s insulin and blood glucose levels soar into the clouds when they eat carbohydrates. If you have normal blood glucose control, your body’s sensitivity to insulin will quickly take care of the small rise in glucose you get after you eat. In fact, typical folks never see a rise in blood sugar levels much above 120 mg/dl (6.6 mmol/L) – no matter how much starch and sugar they eat. The problem comes for those of us with an abnormal response to the carbohydrates we eat. Reasons for that vary, but taking the necessary steps to correct the problem can often make us feel ill. The Atkins’ Flu, Detoxing from Sugar, and Carbohydrate Withdrawal The first two weeks of a low carb diet can send the body into a tizzy. We’re restricting the body’s first-used fuel source, emptying out glycogen stores, dumping a lot of excess water, and coaxing our liver to begin breaking down stored b...
