caveman keto diet recipes
caveman keto here and welcome back tomy youtube channel today we're going to continue our miniseries entitled fryday where we talk about the bestdeep-fried keto foods, we're actually going to discuss thebrussels sprout this is something you might not have likedas a kid but believe me when you dice it up and deep fry it, it tastes amazing, let's get started! start by setting the deep fryer to itsmaximum temperature of 370 degrees the first step is to wash the brusselssprouts i like to put them in a giant bowl
fill it with cold water and i just takethem out one at a time this way all the dirt settles to thebottom slice off the bottom of the brussels sprouts and then cut them into quarters now that you've finished quartering the brussels sprouts it's time to get frying add in a couple handfuls and these arereally gonna steam so you don't want too much the same timeit could actually boil over that's probably good amount close thelid before you start frying and lower it down, you'll see it goes nuts!
this fryer is really nice because it has a filter right here and the the oil gets trapped in that area, its just steam coming from the vegetables not actual grease. after the steam hasdied down you can open the lid and start stirringthe brussels sprouts once the brussels sprouts are nice andgolden brown and you can see the kernels are fried all the way through their done. you can shake them out try to get most of the oil off and then drain them on some paper towels brussels sprouts on their own areamazing
the leaves get nice and crisp as you cansee the kernels really fry through however to add another level of flavor we can make a sauce. 2 ounces mayo 1 tablespoon of hot sauce, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice just mix this all together now toss the brussel sprouts into the sauce now mix together you've got spicy fried brussels sprouts!
