pound a day diet
hi, my name is clint schambach, i am a stlouis personal trainer and also run a weight loss bootcamp in st louis, mo one of the most frequent comments that getssaid to me, is why don’t we focus more on abs. or it is sometimes asked like, hey, ireally need to lose my stomach and love handles, what are the best ab exercises, how much timeshould i spend working on my abs.
pound a day diet, no one likes the answer, because my answerbasically tells them that everything they’ve been doing is wrong. the only machines yousee in a gym taken up everytime you are there, other than cardio machines, are the ab benches,or ab machines. you are guaranteed to see people slaving away on useless exercises.people go to the gym, they hop on the treadmill
and after that, its sit ups, crunches, twists, obliques, and whatever else you read in your magazine. the best way to waste time in the gym andget yourself nowhere closer to your goals, is to focus on crunches and ab exercises.one recent study said it takes about 250,000 crunches to burn one pound of fat. so, i hopeyou aren’t busy for the about next year. you need to start focusing on full body abexercises, plank variations, mountain climbers, burpees. all the stuff you really hate. youhate it because it is hard and it works. you will never burn fat with single movement exercises.squats and lunges will do more to burn fat on your stomach than crunches.
there is an old saying that in the fitnessworld, great abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym. so start doing more full bodyexercises, eat healthier, and you will be on your way to a better body. if you want more tips and tricks about nutritionor workouts, visit our youtube page at http://www.youtube.com/fitnessstlouis, or if you want more information about personaltraining for weight loss and fat loss, http://www.personalfitnesstrainerstlouis.com, and you can get my special report about commonfitness myths and misconceptions and simple ways to fix them.
